Tickets are now on sale for all events in this year’s Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival.

The festival, which takes place this year between 25 May and 3 June, is a signature event on south west Scotland’s annual calendar and for the 39th year brings world-class live performances in music, theatre, comedy, dance, children’s shows and the spoken word to stages across the region.

This year’s festival kicks-off in Dumfries’ Theatre Royal on 25 May with a performance by the Scottish Ensemble featuring music from one of the world’s most influential composers: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. On the evening, STAGE iT young promoter, Lauren Asher, will officially open the festival.

The event heralds the start of 10 days of 66 live performances in 38 venues across the region.
