A fantastic night of pipes and pizza to celebrate Stranraer 400 – the 400th anniversary of the town receiving the Royal Charter
Celtic music sensation Skipinnish will headline an evening of pipes and pizza in celebration of Stranraer’s 400th year as a Royal Burgh.
Skipinnish are famous across Scotland for their youthful, zesty, high energy trad and contemporary sounds with superb vocals and brilliant musicianship. This award-winning, iconic band play to sell-out audiences wherever they go who gather to hear their distinctive, authentic and vibrant Scottish Highland West Coast sound.
This is the first time the band has visited this far south of Scotland and this rare concert is a real coup for the region.
Support for the night comes from popular Stranraer band Life O’ Reilly who play a mix of Scottish and Irish traditional tunes and songs as well as contemporary, blues, rock ‘n’ roll and country.
The rousing skirl of multi-award-winning Lochryan Pipe Band will also feature on the night.
An informal night and tickets include a pizza from Papa Rab.
