The good doctor of folk, Martin Carthy, and his twice Mercury Prize-nominated daughter Eliza Carthy join forces to perform traditional songs in their uniquely charismatic and visceral style. Martin is a ground-breaking ballad singer and guitarist who has influenced a generation of artists, including Bob Dylan and Paul Simon, whilst Eliza is an impressive modern day pioneer and galvaniser of tradition whose dynamic performances are unforgettable.

Support act is Lewis Fergusson who has released 2 EPs, Head Keeps Spinning in 2010 and A Flower In The Dark in 2014, and is currently working on a full length album.  He takes influences from artists such as Bob DylanJoni Mitchelland Townes Van Zandt.   Lewis has performed live on STV and supported Mike Heron from The Incredible String Band, Dick Gaughan, and Alabama 3 during their acoustic tour.  Lewis has earned a place as one of the top emerging Singer/Songwriters in Dumfries and Galloway.Please note there is no bar at this venue.
