Accessibility:

We are committed to ensuring that Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival and Arts Live is as inclusive as possible.   Our accessibility policy is evolving and we will continue to work with our partners and funders to continually improve information and facilities where we can.

Access tickets:
Our box office partners, Midsteeple and Wigtown Book Festival, are equipped to assist with access bookings.  This includes those who require a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance.  Complimentary personal assistant tickets are available on all DGAF core shows*.
Other shows within the programme may have limitations as these are presented by our partners.  If you have a query about any of these, do get in touch so that we can help facilitate.

*DGAF core shows include: Lost at Sea, Martin & Eliza Carthy, The Guitar Man, Team Viking, Lucy Porter: Pass it On, The North, Scottish Opera Pop-Up Roadshow, Electrolyte, Scottish Ensemble Dance Music, Catherine Bohart: Immaculate, The Red Lion and Home and Horizon.

Accessible performances:
We are committed to ensuring we can offer enhanced performances where there is demand.  We are able to offer signed, captioned or audio-described performances in some circumstances and with notice of demand.   If you are interested in our offering an enhanced performance, please get in touch to discuss.

Accessible venues:
We are committed to gathering information on all venues within the Festival and Arts Live network. This is an ongoing process with some 90 spaces ranging from volunteer run to professional led.  Information we hold on venues will be listed below shortly. If you require information on any venue not listed, please do get in touch.
