Here you’ll have the opportunity to meet our NEW DIRECTOR, Dani Rae, an experienced cultural producer who has worked across the creative industries for the last 15 years and joins us from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society. She’ll tell you about plans for the exciting 40th Anniversary programme for Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival and opportunities for you to get involved as well as the next season of Arts Live. Dani will be working with touring companies to programme quality performing arts events and working closely with Lou Davis, Festival Manager, who has played a key role in the delivery of the festival over the last seven years. Our team will be identifying the best and most suitable venues and supporting the region’s network to show you the Festival menu to once again, work in partnership and deliver an outstanding 10-day festival for this very special year!
You will also have the opportunity to receive all the key calendar dates for 2019 and find out how to capitalise upon the marketing of your events by fully engaging with our new Marketing & PR Toolkits for Arts Live & the Festival. Our new Communications Manager, Sharon Makepeace, will be talking about how to implement branding and how to best take advantage of our national and regional reputation for delivering quality arts events.
